Would like to know if Fuji have made the CP7 0804P feeders in black body type. I currently purchased some 0804P feeders in black body type with the double safety lock. Someone said this is CP643 type. Not sure if this can be treated as CP7 feeders.

If anyone knows, please advice.

Thanks!

Carl

Look on the serial number on the body of the feeder. If it starts with "W" it is a CP6 feeder. If it starts with "K" it is for the CP7. It really doesn't matter for which machine, it all depends on the bucket style feeder. If the feeder is a bucket style it can handle the 13" reels. Some can even handle a 15" reel.

The bucket for the CP6 13" reel will not fit in the CP7. The CP6 bucket sits lowerer in the device table.

Thanks! I will check the serial # on the body to figure it out for it should be CP6 or CP7.

Correct....if the feeders you purchased have 7" pans then they will work fine on a CP-6 or CP-7.

If the pans are 13" and they are truly CP-6 feeders, they won't work on a CP-7.

If you need to change out your pans I can help. I have a bunch of 13" CP-7 8mm pans and I located a source in China that makes 7" pans as well. I have a sample and they are excellent reproductions.
