I have a few used MPM SPM Printers available and I'm concidering buying one of them. I'm interested in the actual year each was built. Can any owners who know what year they bought their machine (new) provide me with their Serial Number & year purchased? Thanks, Scott

sorry to say that the mpm's do not have the year on their tag's. Some of the newer ones do, but not the ap or up model's. They may have the year that they were re-manufactured, but not all of the ones that were remanufactured even have that tag. It is a educated guess from the serial #'s

Just call Speedline tech. support. Depending on who you talk to, they will tell you the D.O.M. if you have the S.N.

I want to thank you for your help. MPM SN's are continuous (7001 to the more current 7780's), no date included. I had already contacted MPM and their Technical Support personnel could/would not pin-point the year it was manufactured, hence the reason I posted this question.

I was hoping to get a response like "I bought our SN 7256 in March, 1996...". With multiple responses, I could get a very good estimate of this machine's age.

Thank you for you help though.
