Ooops sorry! Has anyone ever had a problem with using FR4 for a burn-in board? We suggested using Nelco or getek, but will FR4 have any problems in the assembly area through the solder wave?

Jerry: This seems to be a reasonable question to ask in a technical forum.

All of us wave solder FR4 all day-long, not to say we have never had problems doing it.

The selection of the laminate material should depend on the burnin application. We'd be concerned about a FR4 burnin board that saw GT 150*C for extended periods.
