Hi

I notice that Samsung's latest range of handsets are exceptionally thin (e.g. 6.9mm). They claim to be able to get to this thin-ness by using so-called Smart Surface Mount Technology (SSMT). I'm sure that's just marketing-speak for something else, but I am wondering if anyone know if they are really using something special or have they just found a way to improve existing SM technologies? Thanks Cliff Court email:cliff@vine.co.za

Probably like the "Utilises revolutionary MOSFET technology" that my car stereo had on the box, meaning oh look there's some 10 year old ST transistors inside that have a geeky name. We'll pretend it's something new!
