i would like to know if an ICT can test my communication circuit based over RS485 and over optical communication((DO))optical head for counting circuit.

We currently build a product that uses RS485. ICT is geared very well at testing serial channels, as long as there is a way to synchronize the transmit and receive lines. But in the case of a simply RS232/485 protocol, simply doing a loopback test on the circuitry should work fine by perfoming a CRC measurement on the returned signal.
