Looking for Semi Automatic placer suggestions | 17 July, 2007

Morning all, I have been tasked with finding a semi automatic placer for our engineering dept to run 1-5 piece prototypes on. Vision capabilities are necessary. Can anyone help steer me in the right direction for this... Nothing exotic would be placed with it, from 0402, IC's, and BGA if thats possible.

http://www.essemtec.com/e/115.php I found this link in an earlier posting. Looks like it has everything you'd need. I have no experience with the company or their machine to give you an opinion though.

Thanks, I found that also. Looks pretty interesting. I have a request in to them for a quote and info. I think there is a company called Dima also that makes a similar device.
