Anybody ever see what happens to a wave solder machine in a 7.0 quake? Can you say tsunami? What a mess.

Errr, no. But just a month ago I saw what happens to a Samsung CP45FV when dropped from a forklift. We said sayonara, then balled our eyes out.

Rumor has it that our wave tech. got some digital images. If you can point me to a URL I can post them to I'll see if I can get them loaded up....or down.

Set-up an account at Freedrive (http://www.freedrive.com) and post the URL to the pix for us. I've been using Driveway (http://www.driveway.com), but I hear they're shutting down. i-drive (http://www.idrive.com) is goofy and a little tough to use.

Let's see how this works....

Click on the Sn_Pb tsunami folder (not the camera lookin' thingy)

Too bad they'd already started cleanup. The slosh hit the door about 10 inches up from the bottom and made a pretty cool stalagtite.

I'd love to see those pics, but apparently you need to invite users by email address to share on FreeDisk. Mine is dpeter@newnorth.net

I think you're correct and I'm wrong. In driveway, we could just post a link to the public folder, but it doesn't seem to work that way in freedrive.

Wow! Nope, wouldn't wanna see it and hope I never do. Our 7.4 RS quake (that lasted for 45 seconds!) August of 1999 in Istanbul happened at 3AM and the plant was closed. We ran production that day starting at 7:30AM. Only 2 people failed to show up for work. Real troopers them Turks! Just the Fuji IP2 MTU needed tweaking.
