Our plant does not use an automated process, but I have done some research to the LPF Label Feeder by hover davis. It is for the Fuji IP, QP2, QP3, XP. Hope that will point you in some direction or get this thread started.

One of my customers use Amistar machines. The machine goes in the line and prints labels for each individual board and places the finished label on the board as it goes through. They have several of the machines, so they could have gotten something else if they did not work for them. We have made label nozzles for Hoover Davis feeders, I do not think they have any printing capability (all the labels will be the same unless they are sequentially loaded on to the reel).

I have had the Amistar LP1000 for about 5 years and LOVE it. A little trouble between the Zebra printer and machine but since I bought it used no pay no upgrades and I understand new software might improve that. Otherwise it always works. Probably put down close to 1/2mil labels.
