Quad Qsv-1 Low House Air Pressure | 29 February, 2008

This morning I turned on our Qsv-1 and ai resiveved the following error. "Clamp did not open: House Air pressure may be lower then 70 psi" after checking the Air Pressure it reads at 80 psi on the Main air pressure gauge as well as the 80 psi on the Regulator inside the actual machine. The weird part is that the Clamps actually open when powering on the Qsv-1, and if I go into Transport Jam Recovery I can still open and close the Clamps. Also the Transport conveyor will not move, I don't know if this is because it thinks the clamps are not open or if it is another issue altogether. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen this on our assemblers look in the machine and check to be sure there is no obstruction IN the down flag sensor located on the bottom of the front transport assembly.

I do not know the QSV-1, but it sounds like there is a sensor that would detect when the clamp is open. Try to find this sensor and see if it is working.

Quad Qsv-1 Low House Air Pressure | 18 March, 2008

We were told to turn on the air supply prior to turning on the power to the machine. We see this error when we forget to turn the air supply on first, you can just aknowledge the error and it will work.
