Mild tombstoning on 1206 Kingbright LED. Has anyone seen this problem and have any suggestions in root cause?

The blower for zone 6 bottom is turning 46.725 RPM's too fast.

While we are waiting on some of the other pro's to confirm my diagnosis, you may want to check the forum archives for "tombstone".

yes I have seen that same problem several years ago we didn't change anything the problem went away when we used a differant date code from the same vendor I just figured it was comtaminated leads

I have had a similar problem as this. But, not on that particular type of component.

Have your machine place the component, take the PCB over to a microscope and look at the part how it sit's on and in the paste on the pads. You might see that one side of the component is set deeper in the paste on one pad then the other pad.

Having said that. It was a bent tool that placed that part not evenly in the paste on the pads. One side of the component was deeper into the paste compared to the other side. Replaced the tool and BINGO. Problem solved.

We had the same problem, same brand part. We were running 3 different flavors only had the issue with one reel. Swaped out that reel for another and the problem went away.
