Does anyone know of an inexpensive way of holding small parts or boards in place in a wash basket to prevent them from moving during cleaning process.Keep in mind you want the top of the parts/boards to also get clean. Thanks

An expensive way is Stone Mountain Tool board cages. We tried to find a less expensive alternative but couldn't. These are the Cadillac of wash baskets.

Search the fine SMTnet Archives. Here's an "old but a goodie" from Steve 'Zeva' Gregory: http://www.smtnet.com/forums/Index.cfm?CFApp=1&Message_ID=11862

Steve,

We build a lot of small flex circuits and we use conductive silicone mesh in our wash baskets to keep things from flying around. We buy it from AGI Corporation - Huntsville, AL - 256-858-3300.

I use a alcohol rag and compressed air to blow out them via holes. I think washing is over rated. A simple wipe is all you need. Plus it keeps the planet green which is what everyone seems to be squacking about these days. Thats why I wash one a week at most. Green is better from what i'm told.
