Is the condition on your Heller warranty has changed? | 12 May, 2009

I just want to check with you guys, those who have Heller reflow oven and has lifetime warranty if warranty is still lifetime. We were told that warranty for blowers and elements are now just limited to 8 years, though when the machines were bought, terms were lifetime warranty for heaters and blowers operating upto 350C. What's the warranty on your machines?

We bought our heller oven in 2005 it has lifetime blower warranty the last time I needed A blower early last year it was stil under warranty and they said nothing about it changing at that time.

Is the condition on your Heller warranty has changed? | 15 May, 2009

We recently added a 7-zone Heller, and have had a 5-zone Heller for quite some time. When the tech installed our new oven, we were told the new oven does NOT have the lifetime warranty on heaters and blowers. However, when we order parts for the older one it still does have the warranty (they can tell based on serial number).

We haven't had to replace anything recently on the old 5-zone, but it sounds like it should still be lifetime on those parts.

Btw, our's was bought in 2001. So basically they said that it is not covered anymore. But we were never told that they changed the condition, until we were claiming for the blower. But in page 143 of the manual, it states, "...terms of this warranty be modified without factory consent in writing."
