HSP 4796 CRT touch screen countroller? | 21 September, 2009

The part we are looking for is the touchscreen controller manufactured by Microtouch. There is no specific part number called out in the UIC drawing book, but the part that we found on the PCB of the Microtouch unit was 7209401. We did swap the controller out with the same part from our other HSP unit and the issue went away, so we are 99% sure this part is the issue.

Has it stopped all togather, or look like power problem. I fixed one of these things , was power issue , cold joint on Switchmode Supply to the touch screen controller and up she went again. This only if power to the PCB is faulty....

It has stopped all together. We did go thru and touch up the solder joints. It says it fails to initialize the CRT.
