Those parts indicated with "S" are already serviced e.g. adjusted by Siemens. Siemens customers trade in used, defective parts or parts not needed by customer and Siemens refurbish them. So whenever Siemens treat a spare part that was once in the market it will be indicated. After the 100% refurbishment they release those parts back into the market but indicate the material number with a "S" (serviced) instead of the usual " - ".

Those parts with -03 are 100% brand new and directly from Siemens suppliers. In deed there is no difference in quality or function.
