Quad Central Controller won't allow local fiducials | 13 January, 2010

The Central Controller software on our Quad IVc machine is refusing to allow me to add local fiducials. Essentially, I follow the manual's directions, and when I press 'N' for New, it asks me to enter the placement number. No matter what number I enter, it tells me it is an invalid placement. I assume I am missing a step somewhere, but the manual is silent.

Hello, Havent done them on this machine for 15 years but the manual i have says to go to the teach menu....answer yes/no to local fids taught by autoprogram. If no....enter feeder number and place number then teach.

Quad Central Controller won't allow local fiducials | 14 January, 2010

Placement numbers are 4 digits long, the first digit is the head# followed by a 3 digit placement number. For example if you adding a local fiducial for placement #3 you need to enter 1003.
