We are looking into industrial walkie talkies. The Cobra's that we have from wallmart just aren't cutting the cheese.

I need something that charges quick and will hold a charge for at least 12 hours.

Any recommendations appreciated.

Señor Tech: Consumer walkie-talkies are cheap toys. Look at commercial W-T for light industrial use by Motorola or Kenwood.
