Dear All

I need to check the solder paste volume inside the PTH at our board,which size is 440x620 mm.So, I may need 3D inspection machine,AXI, not AOI.So, does anyone recommand me which 3D machine is suited to my PCB? Thanks in advance.

Hello

because of your board size you need a big x-ray system for this all system are under 600mm,be careful for height clearance when chosing the system. Dage has one for big PCB XD7800 NT, where u can check the volome paste or void. check this: http://www.dage.de/download/xray/XD7800NT950%2006_09_y%20Technical%20Data%20Sheet.pdf

Thanks Florin Yes, it is difficult to find a AXI machine for our such big boards. Just sharing with u,I found that 2 machines which can inspect big size PCB.They are Spectra XL from Machine Visoin Product, and X7056 from VISCOM.

i dont know this 2 systems, i work with %DX frm Agilent , Tiger from FeinFocus and XD7800 from Dage and this one is realy big. Viscom and the other one i dont know for haw long the time are in this AXI area...and if u need to do only sample test and no need to inspct all production, u can use one off line system where u can have also trasabylity... regards florin
