MSD Control Implementation using Cogiscan | 10 August, 2012

We implemented MSD controls 10 years ago using a software/hardware system developed by Cogiscan. The system tracks all moisture sensitive material utilizing RFID and Barcode scanning to completely eliminate human error. The system gives real time data on all material whether it is on machines, in storage, bake, or in transit. It can be interfaced with your equipment to automatically validate your SMT setup and even stop the placement equipment if there is a setup or MSD issue. All J-STD-033 specs are embedded in the software so the system uses those rules in its controls. We love this system!

HI,

we use the SMT Tower software to controll it. The Tower is afully automated storage which controlls the humidity. Is a component leaving the Tower, the time is runnig. Is the Component back in the Tower, the time is stopped.
