Lead Free in 5 zones is tough sledding. Start with your manufacturers solder reflow profile and calculate your belt speed by looking at the recommended heating time for the solder paste vs. the length of your heated zones. Set your belt speed so that the PCB is in and out in basiclly the right amount of time. Thats a start. If you can thermocouple your board, and log data you'll have a better chance of success. You'll of course try to duplicate the manufacturers reflow profile. After getting your belt speed set, run something like 100,150,210,250,270 both top and bottom and see how your profile looks. Make adjustments in the zone temps to get close to optimal times and temps, and then fuss with belt speed to dial in the last little bit. Best of luck. If you don't have thermocouple and data log capability, you are flying by the seat of your pants, and will have to go on visuals only. No mention of the board size you are tackling, but in general this is how it would have to go with so few zones. `hege

try 180 180 195 248 260 belt speed 20 ( lightly populated boards)

adjust speed to 18 for heavily populated.
