Placement machine for Wide PCB | 30 May, 2013

Hi All,

We run all Universal Advantis and 4796B chipshooters.

I am looking for input on what machine can handle a 24" wide pcb? The pcb's have only a few different types of parts, and are wide and narrow.

Universal is really the only equipment that I am familiar with , so any feedback would be appreciated.

These systems normally use pneumatic suction cups, attached to a plotter-like device to allow the nozzle head to be accurately manipulated in three dimensions.

Hi,

from all companies I know that Europlacer makes machine for huge PCB. The model I think is called "iineo" and I think can handle boards up to 60". I saw that machine 5 years ago on Exhibition in Munich. The company is English/French and from what I heard the equipment is decent quality.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Come to find out our Advantis machines can place up to a 25" board. Looks like we have a big board option on them.

I appreciate the help.
