In your experience, what is the most popular CAD package in use today?

Also, does anyone have an automated and/or quick way of counting the solder points on an assembly based on either gerbers or CAD data?

Hi,

We have software tool, called TopoQC, that displays topologically CAD view with failures and calculates solder points by one click. Also, you can calculate DPMO & Six Sigma values on the same screen.

You can read about it on our website: http://proventustech.com/article.php?id=6. If you have questions, you can contact me directly by email: alexeis@proventustech.com

Best Regards, Alexei

We use GCPrevue to view gerbers for stencils and boards. Tools allow selection of one or more or all apertures and provide a count of the selected features. This program is avaiable free from Graphicode.com. To open ODB++ or to edit/modify features the GCPowerplace or GCPrevuePlus programs can be purchased.
