Hello,

we have several generation of Siemens machines and one of our lines is ASM SX1 series. Machine is very accurate and reliable as a hardware, but in my opinion the software is their biggest advantage. Software is very powerful and can do things that other brands can't.Feeders are also very good quality. Support is high level. I have experience with Universal, Fuji and Juki(all of them good machines) from the past but I will recommend ASM SX without any doubt.

Hi and thank you for your answer! I created a new thread called SIPLACE SX1 vs FUJI AIMEX II where we want to get people suggestions. The fact is that I´m software developer and my company want to get comunity opinion before to buy a new machine and for me, all this stuff is crazy.

I really appreciate all your answers thanks a lot

Both Manufacturers and Machine Types are a good choice... Why just these two Manufacturers? Depending on your needs (Changeover times, Board Size, Part Size, Part Counts, Odd Form requirements, CPH requirements, and the list goes on), there might be better equipment. Every Manufacturer has a targeted market segment they focus on and try to flex the usage of their equipment to match the remaining market. If you fit into one of those for Siemens or Fuji then great... just wondering how you narrowed it down to the two.

Well I am not very well aware of these machines. But in 2011 a Spanish company increase the capacity by more than 160% with the help of Siplace x series.
