Gold Flow Oven GF-12 Tuning Instructions Needed | 1 December, 2015

I have a Gold-Flow GF-12 reflow oven. When entering "Work" mode, I get a screen that says that the oven needs to be tuned first. I am able to start the autotuning process (found the password on SMTnet), but the unit just seems to run forever in that mode without successfully tuning. I also ran a board through the oven with a thermocouple probe attached to the external probe port, but it doesn't seem to tune. Any suggestions for how to autotune this oven would be greatly appreciated.

When ever I did an autotune the machine would start at 100F on all three zones, then after a long time it would bump up to 200F and finally 300F. It takes forever but eventually it would complete the tune process and be ready to enter work mode.

Thanks, Tom. I'll post with my results. It's been running for 2-1/2 hours now at the 100F setpoint. I may need to re-start the tuning tomorrow morning, since I don't want to leave it running at the higher temperatures overnight.
