Hi there,

we have recently bought 2 2nd hand DEK printers & both are coming with chillers. Does any one have any info on setting them up & what they have used to fill them? Don't think they are coming with Manuals so any hints on getting one of those would be great.

If it's like ours, it's an AC unit, not a chiller. Easy to hook up with a hose to the printer + power to the unit. You'll need to empty the water from the drip pan from time to time (collects condensation).

Many different units used over the years; AC (just cooling); TCU (heating and cooling) and ECU (temperature and humidity)... Let me know exactly what you've got, I'll see what I can offer for manual.

If it is an ECU you will need power and water. It will keep temp and humidity at your setpoint. I have used them before and was not overly impressed with them. Your process requirements may be more stringent than mine was though.

If you have very dry winters and humid summers you might notice a difference. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts after a year in service.
