First off, let me say hi to everyone in the forums. This is my first post but hopefully not my last.

Okay, so the other day I decided to take my graphics card apart, and in doing so I clipped one of the wires that connect the fans to the fan header. My question is does anyone know of a company in Maryland or online that could solder the wires for me? I would do it myself but I don't really have the correct tools or know how to solder such small wires and I don't want to mess up the card even more than I already have. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Edit: I bought another fan header with wires attached to it that will be sacrificed so that it can be soldered in line with the old wires.

I was specifically Googling for professional soldering in my area and kept getting job opportunities. I'll search with the phrases you gave me and hopefully find something.

Thanks for your reply.

Probably best just sending back to manufacturer for repair or purchase a new fan from the manufacturer if you aren't able to repair it your self. This forum is more for manufacturers than hobbyist; you may want to try asking on a hobby electronics forum for more suggestions.

when you use Google and receive responses that you don't want run the search again with a - [negative sign] in front of that search term. look here: https://www.google.com/advanced_search

Have a look for your local amateur radio club, or electronics hobby club, and pop along with it. Both will have folk that can do the soldering for you..... Good luck!
