hello, can anyone explain why i get dross like this? flux and alloy i use was not changed. this started to happen a month ago when i took out a large quantity of solder dross out of pot. thank you

Hello, my question would be how often you clean the pot? The second picture with the particles looks for me like burned flux etc. When you took out a large quantity of solder dross, I think that big amount of it was released into system.

Clean the solder with the perforated spoon. Take out the solder from the pot. Clean the walls, heaters and equipment.

That definitely looks like flux. Have the settings been altered? Bottle pressure? Line Speeds? Durations?

Possible fluxer failure?
