Need gold fingers (edge contacts) widened in eagle then saved to Gerber. | 1 September, 2017

Long story short: I paid someone to convert some older Gerber files to the new RS-274x format for me so I could have them manufactured. I sent them the original Gerber files (RS-274D) along with additional files showing information on the layout. They decided to draw up the PCB in Eagle using the information provided and then converted to Gerber files and sent to me. Unfortunately, they made a mistake. I had prototypes made up and it turns out the edge connectors are too narrow. The boards do not make contact with the female pins and are basically worthless in this state (although I was able to test the rest of the board and everything else seems ok). The person I paid to do all this is conveniently ignoring my requests to fix the width of the edge connectors. I've attached a photo illustrating what I'm referring too. Can anyone recommend someone who can make this (hopefully) simple change to the Eagle and Gerber files and send back to me? The width of the "fingers" should be 0.8mm wide.

In Eagle 6.0 and later you can edit the XML directly it should be fairly trivial. Then download the Eagle free package from the CADoft website to view and it should be okay

Hi, I think your friend wrongly changed the D code so that the finger width doesn't meet your requirements. And the fingers have long and short ones, which is hard to do selective gold plating because of not easy to add plating wires. Of course, you can choose immersion gold or full gold plating.Full gold plating is more expensive than immersion gold.

Besides, I find many fingers do not connect with any circuitry. Is that ok?
