Hi Dave,

Thank you. I have been through IPC 7525A.

But our boards bit more complicated and quality requirements are very stringent. 7525A doesn't help for much extent. Any other you have gone through and found to be very good to understand and learn stencil design.

So that we can make our own.

Hi Ameen,

Have you tried talking to your local stencil fabricator? they tend to have rule sets built up over years of experience. We are very lucky in the UK to have excellent, very knowledgeable suppliers.

Also, stencil design rules are built in or options on the leading process preparation software packages, so with a bit of luck your company may already have some of what you are looking for.

In addition our paste supplier is also very helpful in this area, especially where we have particularly unique or problematic parts.

Remember, what we often see as unique can be quite common when you look at the industry as a whole.

Hi Rob,

Thanks.

We have very high mix low volume products. Even our stencil suppliers have problem to fix. So we are landing up getting one more stencil after checking the issue in NPI build. we are trying to add up all and have guideline.

which is becoming very bulky and not user friendly.
