Radial 5 Cannot Connect to UIC

We recently got a Universal Radial 5 from another plant. We know very little about it. When we first powered it up we could communicate using UIC (We got the RAD> prompt) When we came back in the morning it was repeat scrolling an "ODD ADDRESS ERROR" on the monitor. I used a loopback to verify that the serial connections were good all the way to the control box. We tried uploading the main program to the machine. It goes through the motions but at the end it just starts scrolling the error again. It seems like maybe we have a bad board in the control box. Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions?
