Looking to purchase a DIP lead forming tool. The tool that has the 2 rollers that let you place the DIP part on the rail and run it between 2 rollers (ball-bearing?).

I found a place that once sold them. They were called an RS Pro IC Insertion Tool. That companies page says that they have been discontinued. https://ae.rsdelivers.com/product/rs-pro/uls/rs-pro-ic-insertion-tool/0424658

Someone has to be making/selling these things. Does anyone have a source?

Ours are all DLS-340 from Fancort. They don't appear on their website. Your description was accurate. 2 adjustable bearings with a spacer in the middle. Maybe a phone call to fancort might unearth something.

We have used both. They basically operated the same way, the discs are adjustable on the Hakko device as well. It also has a spring to help keep the IC's down on the flat bar. They both perform the same function.
