Hello guys, I am not very familiar with samsung cp 45 neo machines, however, I am trying to repair a head that from what I was told was always disabled. I activated head # 6 and there was no movement in the first phase, I thought it might be the failed servo motor. Since I do not have any spare, I changed the servo from head # 1 to head # 6, to see if it really was the servomotor. this time, when I do the homing for the machine, the # 1, # 2, and # 6 heads move up and down with huge speed. The machine will only boot with # 1, # 2, and # 6 heads off. In this way, I can not conclude that it was the servo motor that was initially in the # 6 head. Any idea what this might be?

are you sure #1 and #6 are interchangeable? if I remember correctly there is a catch with those motors, like there are 2 groups, group 1 being #1 #3 #5 and group 2 being #2 #4 and #6. maybe try getting it back and swapping cables at drivers for head #4 and #6? this should definitely answer your question is it really motor that is faulty. drivers are under rear feeder bank.

Hello again, I put the motors 1 and 6 back in their correct positions, but head 1 now gives me a new error. will it be necessary to configure the head 1 motor in any way? I was still checking to see if the belt and the engine would be in position, but apparently have no position. Every help is welcome. The video of the error:

Hello Bukas, thanks again. Since at an early stage I switched heads # 1 and # 6 and they are not compatible, then I went through the manual and figured out why. in order to start at the beginning and check that it had not damaged anything, I put the corresponding motors back on head # 1 and # 6 again. The # 6 head motor still does not work and the home sensor also does not detect when I make the shaft pass through it manually. but everything as I was initially with this head. At head # 1, as the video shows, the machine gives the following error:

[1002] Alarm occurred in Z1 axis

in the manual:

in the case of an axis, excessive pressing can cause this

a motor error occurred at the specified axis

[Solution]

turn off the buzzer by pressing the stop button

check if the height of the z-axis at placement point is adequate, and correct if the height of the z-axis is incorrectly set up.

I think it might have to do with the last point "check if the height of the z-axis at placement is adequate, and correct if the height of the z-axis is incorrectly set up." I already tried to see where I could adjust the height, but no matter how much I change I could not see differences.

well, in video shown it looks like #1 motor drives head #1 upwards but does not detect home sensor being triggered. and then you get timeout error, head not being able to reach the position ( machine not registering it has reached position). since you initially had problem with head #6 and now with head #1 it may be that you have bad cables, or that machine config files got corrupted. config files are located in Mark3/SYS folder. if you have backup start from there, replace whole folder but keep originals! also, check all connectors and cables, cables can be quite tricky giving you error at specific beam position only. check #1 head home sensor manually. move beam manually and check again...

all the motors on the head are the same just the connecting cable are different length. the motors have a home position for the zero pulse that home position has to match when the flag passes through the homing sensor all servos have a home position some applications do not use it.

Good afternoon KaHrpr, I understand that servo motors have a way of knowing how far they are. but how can I find out where to position the motor or how can I configure the motor to change its parameters? should I use any software that should be incorporated into the machine?
