What rework station you recommend? | 19 March, 2019

Dear all,

I'm considering to buy a nice rework station for our lab. We are not gonna do mass production and the smallest components that we will be soldering is in the order of 0201 smd components. Actually, I'm considering the following three machines and still I'm not able to pick one. Budget-wise I can cover any of them but I just wanna make sure that I'm selecting the right one.

Ersa HR550 This one will cost about $40k.

Finetech Core-Plus This one will cost about $70k. And if I add a dispensing module it will cost about $84k. Another good thing about this is that If I get it I wont need a reflow machine.

SV560 This one costs about $23k.

The boards that I will be placing the components on will be max 20cm*20cm. And I would prefer to be able to place components all over the board.

Could you please let me know if you have any suggestion on this? Any other machine that is better in this price range?

I very much appreciate your help with this.
