Bad business practice and disrespect to SMTnet | 29 May, 2019

Hello SMTnet, I've been using this forum for several years and have grown to respect what it provides to our industry and enjoy our collaboration of; process knowledge, equipment knowledge and providing resources to share as we continue to grow this electronics industry. What I must question is; if any others are sick of seeing the malicious abuse by some Companies to bug each others advertisements with their own pictures? I'm not sure how it got there but I think they missed the boat when we collaborate and fortunately for me I can choose where my purchasing power will go and respect that my customers have that same choose with their purchasing power. Please reference the attached pictures. I'm not sure what can be done about it or if others are seeing what I see but I can see that it is only getting worse and personally I'm sick of the disrespect to SMTnet and our industry colleagues. Just had to put it out there.....gotta run, plenty of machines to fixed but I can't fix people.

Dave, if you single out "Simplematic" under used SMT equipment you get one where it looks like someone pasted an image of their product (with their URL, http://www.amikon.cn) on top of the actual paid advertiser's image. I didn't see amikon under the list of paid advertisers, so it looks like a spoof to get some free advertising.

The nerds say they've fixed the problem. They say the problem was caused by bad, obsolete code. Based on my review, I believe that they corrected the problem. Good job nerds!!!

Hopeful, our faith in man [and woman]-kind is restored with this fix.
