DEK Hawkeye Problems

We have a printer with Hawkeye 1700. The PCB side sometimes returns a distorted picture. It happens erratically, can be at startup or after a while, sometimes the machine works full day without problems. The only way to restore operation is disconnecting the firewire cable or restart the machine, sometimes need to repeat this several times. We replaced almost everything possible, the camera, the computer unit completely and the camera cables. Even installed a ionizator bar as some users had camera issues related to ESD. It is hard to believe that the camera is the source, 2 cameras tested and ALWAYS the problem is ONLY on the PCB side, the stencil shows perfectly. Any idea is welcome, I don't know what can be wrong and how to proceed.
