Seho System 4135 - M

Hi

I am having issues with fumes coming from my oven,mainly when running lead free paste,it does not have a traditional motor or fan mounted inside but has a modified top extruding motor with a rod leading to the fan inside. So the top is open to a degree. Can anyone confirm if this has to be a totally sealed off unit? I am struggling to find an image of this oven on the internet as it is quite old.
