Kapton Tape Sticker Masking before conformal coating | 19 May, 2020

Hi, Our assembly process involves applying Kapton tape to the back side of our device, a laborious cutting and sticking operation. We are scaling up from "cottage industry" so I'm interested to know if you can buy Kapton shapes on a reel cut to our specific sizes, or even off the shelf? A dispensing tool would be also very useful, like a supermarket sticker gun. Automatic dispense is of interest but longer term. Many thanks in advance. Martin

Do you buy in the PCB's from a manufacturer? If so, they may well offer such a service for you.

We get quite a few different boards that come with either Kapton tape, or liquid masking already applied.
