QUAD IVC Pickup Problem on Z Axis

Hi, I went to run my IVC yesterday and it got a Motor Error on first pickup. Pressing Enter showed Z:-27:0 So according to the manual that means the Zaxis was commanded to go to -27, but the limit is '0'. I tried a Function 3 on that pickup and the Z parameter is in the 950 range. That is normal for this instrument. I tried teaching a pickup from scratch, and again, the Z parameter was as expected, approx 950. But when you do a 'Run Step' it suddenly thinks the Z param is -27. Any ideas on why the database says ~950, then the rod is commanded to -27?
