Hello everyone. I would like to know opinions about which is the best SMT machine (pick and place) on the market, for smd electronic manufacturing, to put 0201 chip-type components up to large packages, such as coils, capacitors, soic16-, QFN, BGA etc. Efficiently and precisely fulfilling the placement of a wide variety of electronic component packages.

If you can recommend machines, I would appreciate it!

If you are looking at a single machine, you are after a true "flexplacer". There are a couple of options it will depend a bit on the spped you want and how many different parts you need too load at once.

Best: Europlacer Iineo for pure flexibility or Atom3 if you need speed too

Juki RS1 - this will depend a bit if you like the Europlacer feedewr model or prefer something a bit more conventional.

Panansonic AM100

All the above can handle a very wide range of shapes and sizes of parts in standard configuartions without too much compromise.

You can also do this with Fuji Aimex machines because they have changeable heads but that will probably cost you more to add that flexibility.

ASM E-Place can also be configured as a flexplacer depending which head you have fitted, but the more flexible it is the slower it is.

You should narrow it down more. Your list is easily achievable by most of the machines on the market. There are things like throughput, factory layout, traceability, number of operators to run the line, setup requirements, flexibility, product range and volume.

We are looking for a machine for high volumes of production, with ease of assembly of any package, with height, large or small. Be profitable, inexpensive and spare parts are affordable. You who have more knowledge of which machine you would recommend, to analyze it, thank you.

If you say high volume and mean it, I would suggest "any package, with height, large or small" is no longer a requirement as you can easily handle that component mix by having dedicated large parts handling machines at the end of the line after as many chipshooters as you need.

As Evitimov says, you need more criteria to narrow it down, quantify your volume, work out how many parts and therefor feeders you need, how much changeover you think you have, exactly how big and complex some of your parts might be and how often you would need to place them. One ting that has made your life easier - there are about 1/2 as many manufacturers to choose from as 10 years ago and some of those might be easier to get/support in your region than others.

I think the most important thing for you to answer is, what do you consider "inexpensive?" That may make the choice much easier.

Certainly would as to the feasibility of new vs used. Pricing otherwise might be more competitive than you might think especially when the enquiry is serious. How you use the machien can also radically affect your quote, if you expect to use a lot of feeders for large jobs plus preloading others for the next run etc then Mycronic / Europlacer can become a serious price threat to machines that use conventional feeders. On the other hand if you spec a Hanwha with pneumatic feeders they are almost as cheap but you need dedicated feeders to handle your 2mm pitch and other such complexities that don't affect most smart electronic feeder types. However last time I looked Agilis elements on Mycronic did still come in multiple types because of the way they peel back the tape.

You sound like you really need a subcontractor to build for you.
