Just wondering, what do companies who have a stand alone reflow oven use to allow their pcbs to safely exit off the reflow machine conveyor belt or pcb rails ? I've seen home made ramps that the pcb slides down.....but is there any other option ?

In a past life we had "board catchers" who stood at the end of our two lines and caught the boards. They were also in charge of transporting the boards to wash and loading/unloading the wash as well.

I was never a fan of this approach, but it's an option.

We just use a ramp to a cart and the line operator loads them into trays as they come out. There are buffer conveyors or magazine loaders you could use. Or do a little industrial automation with a plc and proximity sensors; combine a ramp and a belt conveyor to make a buffer table.
