Hello, This is my first time posting to this forum, or forums in general, so go easy on me. I have just acquired a CP45FV NEO, "My other car is a CP45FV NEO" anyways, when I try to put the machine into ready mode I get the error,

[0006] I/O power switch is turned off.

Displayed in the bottom of the MMI and the IDLE indicator goes to RED EMER1

Maybe its an interlock issue?

When I press the green Power button near the power on off switch, nothing happens. Currently I do not have air connected to it, when I did it still produced the same response in the MMI.

hello James, you should be getting error message " no pneumatic pressure " when trying to get machine into READY state with no air supply. maybe you should check HDD health. while you are there, make HDD backup; and if machine uses ATA drive buy a SSD ATA drive as soon as possible and make regular backups. data corruption will occur on SSD too regardless. edit: I oversaw the detail where nothing happens when you press green button. it can be lot of things. but start with cleaning PCB slots and connectors in both PC and industrial controller part. if this doesnt work move to conveyor IF boards. I can guide you through this process if needed.

Hi Bukas, thanks for taking the time to respond. Drive is in good shape, everything seems OK. The first thing I did was make a copy of the drive.

I should check all of the PCB's and make sure they are seated properly. The Samsung part of the assembly seems really well made so I did not remove and reseat any of the boards, but I will. Thanks again. James in Canada

Air flow was the issue, more CFM required then my compressor an deliver. I have to use 2 compressors, you can hear a set of contacts engage when pressure is applied and sufficient.

you need constant 4-6 bar pressure and 200 N liters of air if I remember correctly. dont forget to run calibrations. default system password is 1 after each head calibration you need to update machine in calibration menu and menu before that or it wont take effect. good luck
