We are looking for new entry-level selective soldering machine. I would appreciate if you can share experience with the equipment you have, as there are many machines on the market and it's a though choice. We will use it for lead-free soldering and throughput is not an issue here, but size and power consumption are. Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance!

My vote would be for the ACE Kiss 102. Easy to program, easy to maintain, and produces good results at a low price point.

ACE was bought by Nordson and is sold under Nordson select. I do not have experience with the machines sold under this brand, but hopefully they have not strayed far from what made them good machines.

One of these ACE KISS machines. Very basic and simple to program. It is a great entry level machine. However, accuracy and repeatability not the same compared to the big expensive machines.

We have an Ersa and an Ace machine. The Ersa is made for bigger volumes of boards. Programming is longer/harder and not as user friendly.

If your running 100 boards or less.....the Ace is the way to go. If you need flexibility the Ace is better.

If your running large jobs....the Ersa is better and has better quality because of the various machine options that keep the solder on the nozzle tip at the exact height.

just my opinion
