EKRA XPRT3 SPI Capabilities? | 24 August, 2021

Hello, Context: My company is a high mix, low volume OEM. We recently acquired a used EKRA XPRT3 stencil printer. We only have a total of 3 Manufacturing Engineers in the building, and I, one of them, am assigned as the our SMT assembly process engineer. To be honest, I only recently graduated and have a ton to learn. We had Asys-group send a trainer out to help with install and train us on the machine and he definitely told us that there is 2D SPI capabilities on the machine. However, I was not present, and no one took notes on that part of the training. Due to security risk, our machine CANNOT be hooked up to any of our networks so I can't have them remote in.

My Question is this: Does anyone currently have, or has used the EKRA XPRT3 stencil printer and has some knowledge with setting up the SPI features? Our manual acts like its a feature coming soon, but everywhere I look, they are advertised as having 2D SPI capabilities. Can Anyone help me out or give advice?

I have mentioned this over 6 different support tickets (3 of which had no reply and were dedicated to this inquiry.) I have also called twice with no answer and no call back. I can try again but am definitely not impressed with them.

The only response we ever got was a request that they would HAVE TO have teamviewer installed. but the machine has windows XP and there was no response on them being able to help with a install if we upgraded the pc to a Windows 10.

We have X5's. You are able to turn inspection on/off on the screen. Obviously an older machine running XP. I have never had a bad experience with ASYS support. I usually call our regional Field service rep. Where are you located?
