We are having a problem right now where the machine won't load the circuit boards (mot m, y, z, etc) due to the machine blowing the fuses. This was diagnosed by one of our engineers to be a problem with this part: MyData MyCronic Booster BNB/NREG L-019-624-3. There are two of them in the machine that are connected with a ribbon cable, when the first one is plugged in; no fuses are blown, however, when the second one is connected to the first one via the ribbon cable. The fuses that blow are on the front, Number 9 (38) and Number 11 (something like 60-80) if memory serves correct. We are planning on ordering a new board, however, figured I would check here to see if there's any other tips before doing that.

IF the two are identical, swap the suspected bad one (#2) position 1, and see if the fuse blows before connecting the second one. Basically the same test process you describe, but swap the units first. See if the problem follows the card, or stays with the "position".

The ribbon cables might be shorting. Have you replaced them?

These were all great suggestions and helped find the issue; we ended up replacing the Mot M board which made it work.
