Script error with Personal/Professional Links Edit Option | 31 August, 1999

In using IE5 to edit the Personal & Professional Links section of "My SMTnet" I get a script error. Line 1, Character 1, Object Expected.

Charles,

We cannot recreate the error via IE5. What operating system are you using?

Try logging out and back in again, to see if that helps.

Email me your information, if you prefer.

I think I found the problem. I have the "My SMTnet" page set as an active desktop item in Win98. When I pull up the page in my regular browser, the aforementioned option works. Thanks for your time.

Interesting...

We will experiment with it, and see if it can be made to work as an active desktop item. I'll inform you of any new developments in that area. We have also been doing research into Microsoft's "channel" subscription technology.

Thanks for your input, Cliff
