convection batch ovens

Hi, I'm looking for a small batch convection oven that will replace the dryer section of a batch ultrasonic cleaning machine to dry off excessive water from washed PCB's, any suggestions for particular suppliers, will be appreciated. Jack

Quad still sells a low end convection/IR bench top oven for about $15,000. (ZCR 412B) It is limited to a 12" board but may work for your application.

IR ovens have gone out of favor recently. There should be some older IR ovens for under $5,000 from many vendors through the brokers.

There are significant differences in a properly designed dryer vs. an Oven. Ovens mearly bake the moisture from assemblies. The high humidity of a drying environment was not considered when most reflow ovens were designed. Dryers are designed with lots of forced air to put the moisture into suspension. A seperate chiller condensor will cause the air to be seperated from the moisture and enhance drying time and efficiency immensely. A dryer is a vertical unit, highly insulated and loaded with wire racks. It is designed to operate at drying temperatures which are much lower than oven temps. They are also reletively inexpensive.
