All , Does anyone out there use CNC routing machines ? If so could you let me know their make , country of origin etc. Do any of you have the facility to use gerber or CAD files for creating part programmes either on or off-line ? If so could you let me know the name of both the machine manufacturers and the software package . Much appreciated ! Thanks in advance.

Cencorp and Ozo are two U.S. companies that make CNC routers for circuit boards. You can find their phone numbers if you search the SMT Forum archives.

Products [companies] that support off-line programming include: * CIMBridge [Mitron (Genrad)] * UniCAM [UniCAM] * GC/Place [GraphiCode] * C-Link [CAE Technologies] * CircuitCAM [Aegis Industrial Software]

...and I'm sure there's more. Good luck.

They supply software with the machine that alows you to work with gerber files and other CAD files. The machines are thought for prototyping. They have a site at www.lpkfcadcam.com Brgs, Tom
