Hello, friends:

Do you know where I can buy cheap double sided flexible circuits, especially adhesiveless system.

Also, when I make double sided flexible circuit assembly, beside using temporary stiffener, any other method to do double sided assembly on flexibel circuit?

Thanks in Advance! Hank

We (RIGID-FLEX circuit board manufacturer) have a cheap and right solution for you from Dupont adhesiveless system. Also we are into PIC (Photo imageable coverlay) technology. E-mail me at RALPH_IBM @ HOTMAIL.COM. and Iwill be more than happy to help you out. We could also take care of your assembly too.

A completely copper etched FR-4 core material (no milling required for comp. standoff) could be used to support the single side placement (either top or bottom side with lowest standoff t) or # of components -whichever gives you the problem/ expensive) and then the other side could be SMT placed (print, MV**, GSM ect. compatible) with the help of milled FR-4 substrate (could be custom designed or sub it out - looks exactly like ICT test fixture) for the support.

There is another way of doing the same thing which depends on size and free real-state of the board itself. If it is a small board -panalization in 12x14 ( >the size of panel > is the free real-state) or greater, would help in selective stiffening of the panel itself for multiple placement for multiple assemblies hence achieving cost reduction.

Hope it helps. If you need any info. for our company for this purpose. please e-mail me and we could go in more details.

Regards Kc.
