Building Cimbridge part libraries

Building Cimbridge part libraries | 7 May, 1998

We just purchased Mitron/GR Software's CB97. We have Universal's 4790 and Contact's 3AV machines. Both these machines part libraries are in binary format and their respective software packages cannot export out into ASCII. Has anyone out there discovered or know of a way to export this into CB97? We really don't want to type all of this data in if at all possible. Thanks Peter

There may be a similar way to do the same thing with Cimbridge. Contact MITRON and discuss it with them. If you can't you may want to reconsider your choice of software if it's not too late. If you have to input all of those library entries manually you have a very large task ahead of you. If I can be of any assistance please let me know. Thanks Dave.

Unfortunately, UNICAM does not have a Contact 3AV machine program output.
