I am looking for a person who can help bring up a Conceptronics reflow oven in the Atlanta Georgia area. The oven is used, but in great shape. Just needs someone who knows how to trouble shoot it. The fans comes on, the bonnet will raise, the computer looks fine displaying all the zones etc. I just cant get the heaters and conveyors up. If you are interested, please call me or write back. This could be a long term agreement for service on our equipment if interested. Matt Kehoe

I have experienced the same problem with my Mark 3. I found the problem to be the solid state relays in the electrical control panel. Towards the front of the machine below the breaker rails. My oven's computer screen would show all was fine but my boards would come out with unmelted solder. I had lost zones 3,4, and 5 on both top and bottom heaters. Also on the conveyor check out the rail card in the computer enclosure.

Good Luck Chris Veeneman

Thanks Chris.

Now that the holiday is (finally) over, maybe I can get this thing going and make some product.

I am still looking for someone in the Atlanta area (or Southeast) to keep this and the rest of the equipment running, in case you know someone.

Thanks again, I will try your suggestions today.

Who did you buy this oven from? What is the model number? I bought a used Conceptronic oven last year...It ran great when I saw the demo. But, when is arrived at our factory we found someone pulled out some relays and it wouldn't heat. Hope you have schematics to troubleshoot. We also found that the output conveyor interface connector needed to be 'jumpered' for the conveyor to run.

Thanks for the suggestion.

We got the machine up and running yesterday morning. Turned out to be a power supply to the boards that control heaters and rails/conveyor.

She ran great all day and hopefully will be a "hapy oven" from now on.

Check all of the interlocks. The heaters and conveyor will not power up unless all of the interlocks are closed.
