Does anyone know the difference between Panasert "Q" type and "K" type feeders? If you have pictures that would be even better.

Main difference is the reel holder position and for sure the clamping pin location. Tape feeding system is different. Any way they cannot be compatible among them. Q type feeders must be used for MV Q-Type placer and K-type feeders must be used for MV K-type placers. My suggestion ( after many years of K-type feeder experience) if you have to buy an MV, Q-type feeders performs better then K-type and are more reliable. The feeding and reel holder system have a better mechanical design and better protection (against vibrations) for reels (mainly if above 24 mm width) when feeder carrier moves fast along Z assy .
